On October 5, the Bliss Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting a Fire and Brimstone Concert, and don’t worry, it’s not really something dangerous, it’s just another fundraising concert coordinated by Gospel Artist, Reality Youth. According to him, the concert hopes to bring all Belizeans together to praise God and be enlightened in this time in which there are many challenges to face in the world.

“Just bring your family and let us have a good time worshiping God in spirit and in truth. I am not God; I am just a child of God doing his work in Belize city and I want everyone to come out. I am not going to be the only one performing at the concert; we have a selection of artists, we have a selection of different denominations, we have African church from here in Belize City, we have Spanish church from Mahogany Heights, we have Garifuna church from Belize City and we also have a community Christian Church from Pomona. We just want everyone to understand that God is just bringing his people together to worship, to glorify and lift up his name. Our artists include Messenger, who is a young man that is very gifted by God and is out of Corozal; we have Spiritual Chef from Belize City. These artists are bringing their original lyrics; some of them are using tracks but majority of the artists will be performing with live bands.”
Reality Youth promises that there will be ticket giveaways before the concert and enough prizes and surprises at the venue. He explained that the funds gathered will be diverted to a worthy cause.

“We just want everyone to understand that we are promoting this concert not for money but this concert is to glorify God; so, if you would like to know where the funds would go, we will be using the money to feed the homeless people, people that are in need, we will use the fund to get sensible clothes for them to wear. We just want everyone to understand that we are promoting this concert not for money but just to glorify God.” Today Reality Youth also had in store his new CD which he says also features the talents of very young children from Belize City. REALITY YOUTH “I have a new album that I released on Love TV about a month ago and on this album I have tracks like, ‘Put Down The Gun’; this song was actually written by young boys and I just gave them guidance and words of encouragement and so these little boys who are 9 and 10 and eleven years wrote this song and I actually took them to a recording studio to get it done.”As we mentioned earlier the event will take place at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday October 5 at 7:00 pm. Tickets will be sold at a cost of eight dollars for those that are eighteen and over and two dollars for ages fourteen to seventeen. Those under fourteen can enter free of cost.
