The brutal murder of Ramon Cervantes Senior from Orange Walk Town is shrouded in mystery and up until tonight no one has been charged. But there is breaking news tonight as the investigations continue. News Five Mike Rudon has been in Orange Walk following this story and has returned to the farm where Cervantes’ body was found on Saturday evening. There another discovery has been made, the body of a woman is being dug out of grave at this time and all indications are that the two murders are linked. We go live to Orange Walk for this breaking news exclusive to News Five.

“What happened is at round 5 o’clock this evening police picked up some persons, they went out on operations in their vehicles, they picked up some persons who we understand gave them some information about another body which was buried on a farm next to the farm on which they found the body of Ramon Cervantes Sr. On Saturday. At 5:30 this evening police along with the suspects in custody they began digging at about a quarter to six this evening, they began digging and they set up a tarp and they began digging to find the body of what we understand, what we hear is woman who was abducted from Orange Walk at least two months ago. What you can see from the footage is the officers, the entire area is guarded so we couldn’t get very close, but you can see the footage of them digging there and it’s about two hundred feet away from where the body of Ramon Cervantes Sr. was found. We took some footage of the area you can see the shallow grave, the area in which the forensic people have worked where they found the body of Ramon Cervantes Sr. Currently the have not found any body but News Five remains on the scene and we will update you when anything is found, if anything is found.”
